engaging and informative presentation
examines the dynamics at issue when
a child is aligned with Parent A and
resist/refuses contact with Parent B.
The Five Factor Model
(Bernet and Greenhill
2022)
is strongly criticized as biased
in favor of identifying alienation,
circular, and empirically weak.
An ecological model is described that
allows evaluators,
work product reviewers, and
finders-of-fact
to minimize bias, avoid premature
closure,
and better understand the complex
convergence
of variables that contribute to
resist/refuse dynamics.
