Conflicts Disclosure:
I am being
paid to conduct this training.
I am therefore motivated to
entertain, engage, and
enlighten you. I may laugh at
jokes that aren’t funny and
ask that you do the same in
return.
I am the
author of a number of books
and articles referenced
throughout this weekend. I
earn the equivalent of a cup
of coffee from Starbucks for
every 7 books sold. I do not
earn money when you download
articles I’ve written
(although my publishers may).
I am the owner
and director of DEFUSEdivorce.com.
In theory this business earns
money. In reality, I would
love to share its accumulated
costs with you.
I make money
working in the courts on
behalf of children. I am
therefore motivated to impress
you so that you’ll refer to me
(even though I live and work
1195.8 miles away)
Everything
that I do, I do for children.
My investment in children’s
well-being and the future of
the species can create
conflicts with people and
agencies that do not share
this motivation on occasion.
